Governors Annual Report to Parents Wales

Discussion in 'Governors' started by Marlene7, Feb 10, 2012.

  1. Should a Headteacher write the Governors Annual Report to parents? Is this best practice?

  2. No Marlene. As stated above for England it's the same for Wales, the Governors write the report to parents. Usually there is a message from the Chair. This is then collated with all the necessary information by the Clerk. The printing and distribution is the responsibility of the school.

No Missysquirrel. The 'Governors Annual Report' hasn't been a requirement in England for a few years now ...

  4. Thank you, this is very helpful. I'm a new parent governor and was unsure of the protocol.
