Google allowed on Computer-based test?

There was a time when allowing calculators on Mathematics tests was unthinkable.

Why don’t schools allow google searches on computer-based Science or English tests too?

This question popped up when I was looking for online test websites such as www.sgtestpaper.com , that provide online mock tests for pupils. The online test papers consist mainly of multiple choice questions, but some require short answers and some long answers too.

In my opinion, it is alright. However, the questions have to be reviewed to raise the degree of difficulty, such that they are not just testing on basic facts but on analysis of problem and application of knowledge.

    What do you think?
