Just want to wish my fellow HTs and those DHTs who have stepped up if their HT has had to self isolate, all the best for tomorrow for closing their schools down!

For many of us, who are retiring in August, it could very well be, the last working day where the school is ‘fully operational’.

I’m a primary HT and I’ve got phase leaders to prepare ‘activity workbooks’ to send out with pupils tomorrow- not a necessity to complete them, but something to keep them occupied.

School will still be open for staff to come in, although I’m actively encouraging them to work from home.

    Good Luck!

Best wishes to you at this difficult time. I am so glad that I retired two years ago and so do not have to worry about making difficult decisions.
