Good luck to Valed!

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by siddons_sara, Apr 7, 2011.

  1. Best wishes to Valed for his retirement. I know I've certainly appreciated his good humour and candour over the past year of writing here. Always to the point but always encouraging and thoughtful.

Thanks too for 'Maths Answers', what a great contribution to share. I love the bits on the slides that say to the pupils 'any problems, please ask!': seems obvious but a nice touch.

All the best, and I hope you will continue to post from time to time.

Hear, hear, Sara. All the best sir - and I too wholeheartedly hope you will continue to post. Let's face it, we're mathematicians - we need an injection of humour every now and then.

Enjoy - and may you always be as busy or as relaxed as you wish to be.

  7. Best of luck Valed. Wish I was a little bit closer to retirement than I am!

  8. Thought so:) Enjoy! And thanks again for all the maths answers materials.

  9. Thanks

Just remember NOT to slam the car door tomorrow [Monday] morning ...

... cos I will be in bed

  10. Ha, ha! Never owned a car matey! When in London it was undergound/walking so I never learned to drive. Walking/cycling now.

Enjoy your first day of freedom.
