Goldilocks and the Three Bears - Outdoor Maths

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by DiscoBec, Sep 15, 2012.

  1. We're doing a mini-topic this week on Goldilocks and the Three Bears and we're also being observed my members of the Local authority. I need to plan five outdoor maths activities for the week for Reception. So far I have 3. Searching in cold porridge for bears of different sizes and ordering them, hanging socks belonging to the three bears on the washing line in size order and then searching for items in the wild area such as leaves and sticks and sorting them according to size. I need 2 more so would appreciate any ideas you may have.
    Thanks

  2. Extend the sock thing to include other clothing...
