  1. Hi, I'm currently an NQT in my third term teaching Maths, I was wondering, now that the TDA is no longer, how would I go about claiming my Golden Hello, and when can I do this? I know it's not until after I finish my first year, but I've heard someone say you can't claim until January, is this true?
    Thanks

You claim via the local authority and you have 12 months from completing induction to claim. You have to be directly employed in a school via a supply agency does not count. Suggest claim as soon as possible before the DfE withdraw it entirely
