Global Dimming

  1. Not understanding the cotton wool bit? How about clear acetate sheet (or other clear stiffish plastic) and another one in grey or with dark pen 'dots' on? Shine a torch shone through onto white paper and compare how strong the light appears. If actual particulates needed, collect particulates from a car exhaust on sticky tape or leave some (sticky side out) on a tin can etc under a rain cover but outside for a while then stick on acetate sheet and compare the light that can get through.
  2. Thanks for the reply. Was thinking cotton wool as in the clouds!! This is not a strong area for me! See what you mean about the acetates.
