We don't have a direct link with the girls school, for example we're not the same school, but I'd like to make links with the local school. We have brothers that go to the local ind school and I'd like to try and do more things together. For example invite them to a science event, or author visit.

Do you do anything to keep links with the local boy/girl school?

    Nope...nothing at all.
But lots of our boys have sisters at the girls' school.
We do nothing with any other school as such...just sports matches.

I know of senior schools which do - especially for drama productions, extra curricular Music e.g. a choir, jazz band or orchestra and one school I know has a joint literary/debating society.
I’ve known schools to join together for author visits etc.
If it’s something you’d like to do and your Head is in favour then there’s no reason not to take the initiative.

Yes, head is very keen. Just wondered what other schools do, but maybe it's rarer than I thought.

Thanks for your responses so far.
