girls' grammar school

Discussion in 'Supply teaching' started by MisterFlibble, Nov 25, 2011.

  1. I went to an all-girls' convent school (non-selective but very very tightly streamed) - even in the upper sets we would have still been little blighters to a supply and tried to crack them.
  2. I think kids in all schools try it on for supply teachers, but there is a difference between nice kids in a good school being a bit more chatty than normal and not completing much work etc. and kids in a difficult school swearing, being rude, and fighting each other. At least girls, though, are generally happy to sit and chat to each other,if they are not working, unlike boys who want to run around play fighting etc. Although girls can be sulky and bear grudges in a way that boys don't.
