    Thanks Monty!

  3. Has she decided on Ghana? Whilst not trying to detract from the idea there is also apartheid in South Africa, the genocide in Rwanda, the uprising in Libya that may make for a better project...?

Hmm, this was my thought too, but they are now apparently not allowed to change their minds :eek:/

  5. Has your daughter seen any of the little films from Ghana on this week's 'Comic Relief Great British Bake Off'? If not, it might be worth getting them on BBC i-player. During last night's programme (Wednesday 23rd Jan), about half way through the programme, there was a film about the Kuapa Kokoo organisation, which is a fairtrade cooperative. Very interesting. If you google them, or Divine Chocolate, there is a lot of information which your daughter might find useful.

  7. take a free trial for a week of Oddizzi.com then she can look at all the countries and chose one to cover. There are good videos on Africa and it's completely child friendly
