Getting the wrong end of the stick and running with it.

    Thought I would start with an example where , with no time to check,on supply, you think you half-know something and get it wrong.
    Mine was Varjak Paw by SF Said. It looked like a sci-fi story going by the illustrations and it had SF on the cover, so I thought it wise to make sure the class was aware of the various features of sci-fi texts. Mistake I now know - it's all in the name...
