Geography versus history

Discussion in 'Geography' started by CARLILL, Dec 14, 2010.

  1. Reading the article about Simon Schama championing history, I wondered if we could encourage a geographer to champion his/her subject likewise. What about Nick Middleton? His television series and books on 'Extremes' gave me a renewed enthusiasm for the subject. I do not teach history or geography so I hope I am an unbiased observer.
  2. What about the 'Coast' team?

    Prof Ian Stewart
  4. I would certainly recommend prof. Stewart anytime. Michael Palin is a great ambassador, but Prof Stewart has the academic background and the enthusiasm.
  5. Karl Pilkington!
  6. Ian Stewar, would get my vote.
