Hello, my primary ITE lecturer showed me a book when I did my PGCE, it was fantastic for Geography at Primary. I cant remember what it was called though so I need your help.

It was about a girl who was born in a house and there are no words in the book it's just pictures and it shows globalisation and the development of her town around the house. The pictures only show the house though and her growing up in it page by page. It was a fantastic book and I want to read (well show) it to my class.

Does anyone know of this story?

Also, does any one have any idead how I can plan a lesson around this for Year 1? I am not following my scheme of work but I don't care because I think it is relevant!

    Regards,
