Geography- digital mapping ks2

    I'm geography coordinator for a primary school. Upper KS2 need to use digital mapping as part of the curriculum. Can anyone recommend a programme we could use? We have computers and iPads.

    You can do so much with Google Earth / Google Maps, especially if you start exploring the use of layers and shared pins.

    I used a brilliant one a couple of years back - something like Digimap if it's still going?

    Lara is right - Digimap is fab! It is run by Ordnance Survey and the yearly subscription is very reasonable. I went on the training when it first came out, which was really useful. I would recommend seeing if they are still running sessions.

    Yes Digimap - loved at school by staff- and used with no training.
