With the GCSE exam paper now out its got me thinking about new ways I can get pupils to take ownership of their projects.

I've been thinking about creating some sort of planning & tracking sheet to help them make the most of their time (they are not very good at pushing themselves)
I was thinking something to help them get started where they can fill in what primary/secondary sources they are going to draw, which artists they could look at and so forth so they have something to follow and help them keep on track.
Does any one already do something like this, I'd love to hear your ideas as to how you encourage pupils to plan and research their own ideas. Thanks
