With the deadline for free entry changes coming up, what benchmark have people used for entry of pupils to higher GCSE papers this year bearing in mind the Ofqual advice???

We've used their maths grade - if they're predicted a 5 or above and have gained a five in the most recent science mocks we've put them in for higher tier. Otherwise it's foundation all the way!

We were looking for 25 marks or more average for trilogy on mocks to be higher tier and 34 marks for triples... what boundaries are you using for your 5 averagedan?

We gave ours last year's GCSE papers and used the real grade boundaries+5%.
