    HI - I am a NQT and just taken over a GCSE YR1o group from a previous teacher who been off sick.

    My students are going to be sitting their mocks in two weeks time . Does anyone have any ideas or resources for a revision lesson on coasts..

    Anything to include;

    u How we can protect the environment from problems caused by over development – DUBAI and ST LUCIA

    u Processes of weathering – Need to be able to describe two of each

    u Explain formation of hard rock landforms – headands and bays, cave/arch/stack/stump, wave cut platforms

    u Explain process of slumping on soft coastlines

    Hard engineering methods – describe 3 and explain how they protect the coast – HOLDERNESS

    Look for my AQA B resources (not trying to blow my own trumpet, I promise) I have a revision booklet for Coasts and pretty much all of this is in there. Use the AQA Geography B textbook by David Payne too.
