Gaining QTS status after studing in N. Ireland

Discussion in 'NQTs and new teachers' started by christineodonnell19, Jul 7, 2015.

  1. I recently completed my PGCE at Queen's University in Belfast and am starting my NQT post in England. Although I successfully completed my course, there seems to be a complicated process of converting my qualifications to gain the English QTS. I was just wondering if anyone knew what exactly was involved or whether it is entirely necessary? Help much appreciated!

  3. It should be relatively straightforward. Complete the application (see welshwizard's link) and the NCTL will take it from there.
