  1. Hi all

I used to teach AQA but now I have got a job at a college where they teach OCR Sociology. I am really concerned about this as I have no resources, plus ofsted are due to visit in February and I am on probation, so will have 3 observations. If anyone has any resources on G671 (Exploring socialisation, culture and identity) or any websites that have resources I would be so so greatful. Putting together resources from scratch is taking up all my free time at the moment, please help.

  2. Sociology exchange should sort you ouy (free to join)
If you need anything in particular, please get in touch
From experience i would say the AQA is easier for a teacher to deliver off the bat, but OCR has its advantages. Just dont forget about the methods bit - those 52 markers (with pre-released material) can be a killer, so always link back to that

  3. Private message me with your email and ill pass on whatever Ican dig out
  4. Hello

Message me and I'll see if I can dig it out.
  5. Hi, am struggling with the OCR pre-release G671, Exploring... as well. Can any kind soul help me please? I actually teach AQA but am trying to help a student who is home schooling and does OCR. Thanks.
  6. Hi there, I am setting up Sociology OCR AS and A2 from scratch at my school and do not have many resources. I have an observation on Gender Identity and they do not want an exam style lesson. Would really appreciate any support and resources you may have. Thank you in advance.

SociologyExchange moved to Resourcd a couple of years ago. The good news is that all of the excellent resources are still there! I recommend you go look it up here:

it is also a significantly more active forum than TES if you hope for a response within a day, rather than a week :)
  8. I currently teach AQA but going over to OCR next year as I think their new spec is much better. OCR have some really good resources on their website to support the new spec but you might want to have a look as much of it would also be relevant to current spec.
