    Hi all

I've just started doing IQA for Entry English. When marking for grammar, the guidance asks for subject/verb agreement and correct use of tense. Yet basic syntax and use of prepositions isn't mentioned. If a student is doing E3 writing and is not presenting correct basic syntax and is mis-using prepositions (both common with ESOL students) is this not marked? I can't find anything in the guidance and I've taken a good look.

Please, any advice would be gratefully received!
