Hi I am recaping unit 1.3 as part of the edexcel GCSE course and my class are really struggling with fixed and variable costs.
Any ideas to make it fun and to revise this topic. I am trying to think of some sort of game.

You could put a list of different costs on the IWB board (maybe related to a cafe) divide the white board into 2 with the headings - fixed cost and variable cost - put pupils into groups - give each group a different set of colored post it notes. In the groups the pupils have to write the costs on the post its and then run/walk fast up to the board and place it under the correct heading - fixed or variable. The group that finishs first says stop and the group that gets the most correct wins some chocolate.

it works well with my year 10's
