Dear Colleagues,

Celebrate World Book Day on March 3, 2011 with TES English.

1. A fun fancy dress competition. Dress as a character from a novel, poem or play. Categories and prizes for primary and secondary pupils - and teacher, too! [IMG]

2. For a chance to win an Apple iPad, upload your literature-based teaching resources by March 31, 2011. Teaching packs can be based on poetry / prose / drama you are currently teaching / planning to teach. Alternatively, you might like to upload resources linked to the TES English 2011 content development plans detailed below.
TES English Content Plan & Competitions 2011

3. Download and use our World Book Day collection of teaching resources, worksheets, interactive whiteboard games, quizzes and activities.

Full information is available here:

Please spread the word, and good luck!

All best wishes,
