Full time or part time?

I was just wondering whether people would share their experiences of going back to work either in a full time or part time position after having a break to have children. I have been asked if I would apply for a full time post for a term (I've got three small children, and this would be my first foray into full time teaching, and my second only job since having them) and I was interested in what had happened to others.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
