    the fudge my daughter made earlier in the week hasn't set - it is really sticky!
    Should we reboil it?

    Yes and you need to get it to the correct setting point, ie soft ball stage which is 116C.

    we reboiled, but it is hopeless!

    She's starting again.
    (I'll use the sticky stuff as a sauce for ice cream)
