FS/KS1 teachers: What are your essential phonics equipment?

We have nothing at all except laminated card games made by ourselves and SLT are reluctant to spend money on practical resources, despite us saying we are totally desperate. As teachers we have all looked through the match funding catalogue and managed to spend the full amount on practical items to totally equip all of nursery to year 2, but think this might have been our downfall.

Do you have a top ten list that we should absolutely have...a sort of no KS1 room should be without kind of thing? Starting from nothing at all is pretty tricky.

    Thank you in advance.

We are told we have these because we subscribe to phonics play and so they are there and interactive. Some of us have also printed some from ****** and the like.

Things for children to use/do are what we are after.

I don't have anything for the children to use
In the past I've made games but don't really consider them essential
