Paranoia and self-obsession don't make for expat success. Again, I'll draw you attention to an element of English - contributors, plural. You're boring me now. I'll go back to ignoring you.

Well, I certainly can't accuse you of paranoia - I should imagine almost everybody is out to get you.
As for self-obsession ....... I once heard the pot make a complaint of racial harrassment against the kettle!
Also, I know we all make typos (me more than most), but for God's sake, don't make them when criticising a person's English skills.

(I know you read this, you just couldn't help yourself)

  3. Dear Mister Maker,
As an English teacher, I am very concerned about the frequent mistakes in your posts. In light of the fact that you ridicule others and point out their errors in a most unkind way, I list below some of your most recent mistakes.

The range of errors is of great concern to me, as a teacher with many years of experience. I certainly wouldn't want to work for an establishment with a semiliterate at the helm.

  4. Naturally, I wouldn't want to work for myself, either as I don't seem to be able to paste from word.[IMG]
So Mister Maker, please write out your corrections a hundred times.

Penny, I thought we had someting special. [IMG] Anyway, I was pulling the young scally up for misreading, not his ability in writtening.
I don't do typos, I'm just iliterat. [IMG]
BTW: If you read my posts regularly you'd know how to copy and paste from Word without dribling all over the place.

I did not misread. Unless you are suggesting that 'I' was not contained within the 'contributers' to which you referred.
The written word is a scalpel, not a hand grenade.

  7. I don´t dribble, MM, I drool.
Just off now with my zimmer frame for an appointment with Mr Merlot. [IMG]

If you're that old my dear Penny, then I'm sure our beloved MM will bow to you you superior wisdom. God's teeth, the man is nothing if not consistent, and age is the only measure of intelligence.

Of course, 'you you' should be 'your'. Too much beer.

  10. .........but I´m still younger than Madonna
