Where there's a will...
Not seen that one...
Ray Winstone leaves me a bit cold. But I've seen clips of Kingsley performace... impressive.
Trust me, great film. Ray Winstone gets talked about a lot because when the wind is blowing in the right direction he can, as here, turn in a stormer of a part.
The rest of the cast are no slouches either.
Isn't it Thursday?
I remember what put me off... it seemed to be part of that wave of UK gangsta flicks led by Lock, Stock... and they weren't really my thing.
Yes. Yes it is.
Good. Only I didn't want to get confused.
It is your thing,Lan, it is
This stands head and shoulders above the lot of them. Very well written and shot, it makes the most of its cast. Give it a try, you're a different chap now.
We only just got rid of the strobing adverts, @kibosh.
What's everyone else watching - or what would you like to watch?
If I see it advertised I'll give it a shot.
Last good films I watched... Ex Machina, Predestination, Spectre.
Also saw the latest Terminator ... but I don't include that in 'good'.
I'm worried about his sunburn.
Ex Machina is on my list. Anything with fembots.
Apologies, I didn't/don't know anything about strobing adverts. What are they?
I suppose what I really want to watch is stuff that may be in the making: a new Danny Boyle film, next season (NOT films, I know) of The Walking Dead, Bates Motel, etc.
They are moving things, like the round thing in your post, that make some people, like me, feel sick and make some people have epileptic fits.
They're gone, thank goodness.
I have a couple of seasons of Walking Dead to get through, sometime between now and never. Currently watching the excellent Misfits. Think Heroes with chavs.
There were fits?
