Wine and Star Trek movies.
Wine and a good book - or good film. Something nice to eat helps as well but most of all it's knowing the alarm won't go off in the morning
Glass of wine and crisps early evening in the pub, pizza, chocs with Monty Don.
Prosecco, chocolate, knitting and something good on telly. Mind you, that's every night except for the something good on telly!
Boring night with Monty don being the best thing..they should extend him to an hour a week,Its one programme i look forward to watching.although that series on Patagonia makes me want to add that to my 'to be visited' list.
Ps im not supposed to be eating chocolate as its fattening,or bear....why are the nice things bad for you?
Feel asleep on the sofa and woke up to wife doing ironing. Drank beer and watched netflix.
Often a bottle of champagne with Mr Belle.
There was a bottle of Bollinger chilling when I got home but we went to pub with friends for a couple of G&Ts then picked up a Chinese takeaway on the way home.
I just love sinking into bed on a Friday, knowing I don't have to get up at 6am Saturday!
Your always chaffing champagne Bella,I hear the word and think..Belle's in there somewhere lol
Your liver must be getting nicely pickled by now
I must admit to living a boring life style,,,i was sewing and watching TV with a coffee lol
One mini bottle of prosecco last night and I fell asleep just before the end of the whodunit we were watching. I often have to watch the last 15 minutes again in the morning!
Chinese takeaways are popular! I had one, too - the M&S box version, which is very nice.
Curry, wine and a crappy film.
I hope you were walking or in a taxi!
Please remember, as you all gloat about your Saturday mornings, that for we retirees one day is the same as another.
Nor do we get holidays or sick pay.
Oh speak for yourself racroesus. I still love my Friday trip to the pub.
*Distant sounds of sorrowful violins*
edit: for Rac.
OK I know it's Saturday night but............. wine and Pink Floyd!!
Beer and watching all the recorded programmes from the week!
damnant quod non intellegunt
Girls' pizza night with my daughter while husband does a 24 hour charity event, then tried to watch American Horror Story (with earphones and screen shield) while daughter thrashed around in her sleep next to me. I gave up after half an hour and read.
In the garage, glass of red, checking the motor bike for my Saturday ride.
