Or we could just keep commenting on this one. For old times' sake! Nothing to do with French, but apparently this year AQA GCSE Chinese Listening leapt in difficulty in comparison with previous years and the reading material was far more dense than usual. So I'm told. Like a trial run for 2019! (they're a year behind us)
Thanks. Never really noticed any stats on here before. 4.1m members of forums is quite stunning.
Must keep this one going for longevity's sake
Still peeved at being designated as a new commenter!!
Nobody seems to know why this is the case, or do they?
On the main topic- last chance this year for people to comment on the current specification. After that, perhaps we really do need a new thread. I know this is a bit controversial.
I too am peeved at having the tag of new commenter- I reckon I have had over 2000 posts!!
I know, galling isn't it but the site seems to have disregarded lots of earlier posts!
according to my profile I have made 76 messages- maybe this year but what about all the rest?
Looking at this year's French reading, lots of it looks crazy hard, so as much a lottery as ever. And the reading was apparently nothing compared to the listening!
We found the reading ok but higher listening at times bordering on the undoable!
In particular the lack of recognition of les loyers alongside some unguessable reasons in context- the fact that teachers were on strike about higher rents!!!
That sounds a bit much! Literally!
Howmany posts does it take to lose the soubriquet new commenter?
I wonder...does anyone know?
keep this up and we will soon find out!!!!
According to my official profile I have only made 48 posts!
I only have 23!!!!!!!!!!!!
Must be since the system was changed I guess
