Free Walk to School Resources

Discussion in 'Secondary' started by TES_Bev, Jan 13, 2011.

  1. National charity Living Streets have 300 sets of walking resources to give away to UK secondary schools, thanks to some Big Lottery funding. It's called ‘Free Your Feet' and is a week-long challenge which encourages pupils to walk and incentivises them with a £50 high street voucher (one prize per school).
Registration is free and simple at www.walktoschool.org.uk/freeyourfeet. Schools who took part last year saw up to 15% increases in walking levels, and it's a great way to earn your sustainable, eco and healthy schools status.
