Free school meals

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by Elaine8290, Dec 5, 2013.

  1. I am researching into free school meals for children between the ages of 6 and 7, and am wondering if anyone has any opinions on this subject.

Any answers to the following questions will be appreciated!

    1) Do free school meals benefit children's learning?

    2) Do free school meal help schooling or is this a waste of money?

    3) Does good healthy lunches aid children's concentration?

    4) Where is the government getting the money from to fund free school meals? Do you believe other areas of education are being ignored to fund this?

    4) Is there an issue between the department of education and the government?

    5) Is there a relationship between free school meals and the Autumn statement?

    6) What are the cons and pros of free school meals?

    Thanks!!!
