Free resources, cool stuff to make, and freebies for teachers

  1. Calling teachers of technology / art / science etc - the website Instructables has got over 50,000 projects you can browse, read and use for free.
    On top of that, they're starting a new educators' channel, specifically for school-appropriate projects, and they're launching it with a free contest to win a Macbook Air.

    (Yes, I know this post looks a bit spammy, but it's all on the level. You can look at it all without signing up, or sign up for free if you want. If you contact them from a school email address, they'll even give you a free professional-level membership.)
     
  2. Instructables for school is something that makes me very, very happy... I use it a lot anyway!
     
  3. I've spent a decent amount of time looking at that over the weekend - very useful!
