Free CPD Training: working with refugee pupils

Discussion in 'Primary' started by scmorrow, Oct 23, 2019.

  1. Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an exciting CPD opportunity happening in Exeter for any teacher/teacher in training/TA who wants to attend. Two free training sessions are being held at St Luke's campus of the University of Exeter in November 2019, designed specifically for teachers and school staff to support them to work with refugee or asylum-seeking pupils. The training is free as it is still in the process of development, and will be further evaluated after it has been delivered. It was designed using teacher voice, asking teachers who have taught refugee pupils what they want out of training. One session will be on the 14th of November from 5:30-7:30pm. The other will be on Saturday 23rd November, from 9:30-11:30am (both these sessions are the same - only attend one). For more information or to reserve your place, please contact me (Shauna Morrow): sm892@exeter.ac.uk

    Thank you,
    Shauna
