I felt sorry for this sadly neglected corner of TES, I thought I'd give it a thread.
Will it get moved, I wonder.
    Probably.

I too have been feeling pity as I scrolled down the page.
I am intrigued as to where such a thread would get moved to.

    I don't flounce, I sweep. I have a cape. Capes are cool.

Well as it's vocational having a job with a cape would count. I would have loved todbe able to flounce off out of teaching but the alternatives were worse. However the way things are now a vocation elsewhere may be preferable.

Leave teaching not with a bang but a wimple.

Have you drunk them all? You must have, you've been in here by yourself for a day. It's nice and quiet. Bit like standing in the toilets at a busy party . . . cool, echo-ey, calming.

I've just been accused of flouncing, even though I'd only gone to Sainsbury's for half an hour to do some shopping. So, when I noticed this thread, I thought I'd pop over to see what was going on.

Do you feel flouncing could become a vocation?

Flouncing as a vocation? if a flouncer felt terribly sincere about their efforts and didn't expect much reward, then maybe . . . but then vocations can be quite time consuming . . .flouncing tends to be temporary/momentary . . . but regardless, I think we need a corner for flouncing on the fora . . . and a corner for pseuds, too . . just on the off chance that someone is overcome by the burning desire to spout pretentious claptrap . . .talking of which :)

I've got a BTEC level 2 in flouncing so I'm entitled to be here!
