Fitting in AQA core science

Discussion in 'Science' started by exgis, Mar 19, 2012.

  1. We have followed AQA science for several years. Since the changes we are not only struggling but actually finding it impossible to fit in the content plus the new ISA. We are going to end up with a cohort of pupils who've only been taught 3/4 of the course...........and that's after we've dropped lots of the practical work in an ettempt to cram the info into them. We have 9 lessons (1hour) over each 2 weeks.
Is anyone else having the same issue? we are at a loss and feel we are doing our pupils a massive disservice. Any ideas?

We have 5 lessons each of physics, chemistry and biology a week so the content isn't too much of an issue but the controlled assessment is a nightmare!
