Our washing is out drying on the line.

What with working four days and miserable weather (north east) the tumble drier has had more action than I'd like. So I'm pleased with this 2016 first.

It shall be my memory jar entry today. The little things, eh.

Oh, sorry, that's me making assumptions! Quite literally a jar in which we place our memories. We jot things down we want to remember. Some days nothing goes in and other days all 5 of us have something different to write. We did it in 2014 jan-may and some of the things we captured are great, like the day my middly was tall enough to reach to post something in the post box himself, some are completely mundane, like 'we had crumble for pudding'. Gonna try all yr this time and open it up on New Year's Eve and glue them into a book (we have ready and waiting).

Ah. Where did you get the idea? I can think of loads of applications too! Really good.

I love washing dried on he line. I haven't got any washing today though and I bet when I do it'll be raining.

I saw my first bee of the year. It isn't sunny here though - cold, dull and grey.

Yes, but I hate it when it gets TOO DRY.

I LOVE it when I can hang out my washing!! I invested in a good quality washing machine so on my days off, I will wash and then dry stuff on the line. When I gather it in, the smell is so superior to any product added to the rinse programme. :D

LOVE the idea of the memory jar too!!

Maleficent could use that as a rod for my back.

I saw a wasp on Monday, as I was hanging out the washing in fact.

I bought my teenage daughter a lovely little notebook for her to do the same as a memory jar. She was having a tough time and I didn't want her to look back on her teenage years and think they were all bad.

Hasn't thought of doing it for me though!

A spaghetti jar! What's wrong with the packet it comes in?

(We are in the presence of poshness.) ;)

If I were still teaching I'd use this.

    • Write one nice thing that someone did for you today.
    • Write one nice thing you did for someone else today.
Not EVERY day as they'd get bored.
