Fiction books to stimulate non fiction learning?!

Discussion in 'Primary' started by janeyrobbo, May 7, 2011.

  1. I was wondering if anybody with a creative curriculum out there has any suggestions for fiction books to improve understanding and learning of foudation topics across ks1 and ks2.
I am compiling a list of recommended fiction books to help children relate to foundation topics across ks1 and 2, I have knowledge of KS1 but absolutely no experience of ks2 and was wondering if people with expertise in this area could enlighten me?! What books do you use to introduce subjects such as the Tudors, Romans, Space, Islam, Hinduism aimed at children in KS2?????!

    many thanks in advance
