So 3 weeks into new term...
Our girls' basketball captain led the national team to 2nd place in the African championships and, thus, securing their place at the World Championships
And we had a double gold medallist (and 2 bronze) at the African Junior Swimming Championships
    Pretty chuffed

So one of my little ones just won the World Biathle / Triathle Championships in Florida

    That's our 6th World Champion

    Even more chuffed!

One of my kg students brings me his gold medal that he won at karate
Can you show me some of your karate?
Note to self..wear a "box" when asking stupid questions to 3 foot tall kg students

    OK, a slightly different one

We hosted an U14 volleyball tournament and one school turned up with a grade 2 girl
I assumed that she was a little sister come to support
Coach helps her into a team top and I thought, "That's cute, making her feel like one of the team"
1st game...substitution...on she comes and bosses the older girls around!
An absolute star. Brilliant all round technique
Before you ask, yes, they did beat us and, yes, she tried to crush my hand on the handshake
