In my experience, when management acts in the way you have described they are searching for scapegoats to blame their poor results on. You say you have only recently started at this school, so unless you had been thoroughly trained on all school specific rules and procedures (ie, a unique to that school display policy, reports due etc.), you cannot be expected to know all the minutae (sp?). It would be up to your HOD or lead teacher to mentor you on the policies and procedueres. It sounds as if school management have dropped the ball and are now looking for someone to blame, since you are a temp. you are a convienient target. Keep applying to other schools. You know from your exp. at other schools that you are an effective teacher.
