Federated school and the role of the DH

    That's the same if you're the deputy in a non-federated school.
    Sorry I can't add more - I really don't know.
  2. My friend is a Head in a Federation and absolutely knackered so anything you can do to work in partnership and agree ethos and approaches would help from the outset. Spreading your skills across the group of schools would be key as well as sharing leadership so that the Head can do some of the strategic work at least one day a week and doesn't have issues waiting in each setting!
