Megabus and a cheap hotel is looking by far the cheapest option for me!

Thanks for organising again - definitely include me, please! It's my daughter's birthday that day, but I imagine any celebrations will be at the weekend.

I can now upgrade to definite. I have booked train tickets and a hotel room. There will be time in the morning for a quick trip to Borough Market to buy foodie goodies :).

Put me down as a maybe. I’m concerned about booking the train then finding the February weather is awful but that will apply to others too. I’ll look at the train costs later.

I was going to come to one last year and then something cropped up a couple of days beforehand.

I'm now not in the Lake District that week.

    So count me in.

Upgrade me to definite, please. I’ve just booked train tickets for £10 each way by leaving later (be with you about 1) and home later after rush hour. I’m still concerned about possible wintry weather but will forfeit the £20 if that happens.

I'm definite too. It's even on the calendar.

There's the British Library - I'm going along in a couple of weeks with a friend. If you're a shopper, there's a shopping mall inside St Pancras station (which I've yet to discover but loo[IMG]
    ks interesting.)
