FAO Jubilee or anybody else...

    I know you will know, so forgive the direct plea.
    I have purposefully not corrected tax errors in my salary this year (about £1200 to reclaim) and hope to claim it back in April in order to surprise my wife with a nice holiday.
    I don't want it drip fed back into my salary. As I understand it, if I wait until the tax year is over it will automatically be a cheque that is sent when I reclaim. Is that correct?
