Family friendly move to Europe

We are a teaching couple in Hong Kong. We are considering a move back to Europe to be closer to family after having a baby. Ideally my partner would work full time and I would find part time/ supply work so need to be somewhere where we could live on one and a half salary. Also somewhere with reasonable child care options. Baby number 2 at some point is a possibility. Any suggestions/ advice? Is this possible in Europe? We have loved our time in Hong Kong and have good salaries so it is daunting thinking of moving but lack of space, pollution and missing family are becoming big issues for us. Thanks in advance
