Couple of queries - what is the maximum size for a nursery class (within a school) with an EYPS in charge? My reading of the guidelines is 26, but I wanted to check. Does a person with EYPS qualify as a "school teacher"?

Sorry, final question I promise! So if there is 1 QTS can there be as many 1:13s as you want? Or do you still need 1 QTS per 30 children?

There isn't a statutory limit but the EYFS recommends that, where the size of a group or class exceeds 26 children, it would be good practice to assign an additional teacher to it and that an additional teacher should always be assigned when the size of a class exceeds 30.

Thanks Msz. What would we do without you?
