    Hi all,
    I'm brand new to this forum but I'm seeking guidance on the end of EYFS data exemptions. There is a key phrase about exempting children from the data which says;

    " has not been assessed due to long periods of absence, such as illnesses."

    We have a few children this year, some of a traveller ethnicity and others whose parents are under the watchful eye of social services and at times, the children have been unable to school. How low do you think their attendance has to be to be exempt? Some are as low as 50%, will this count? I have never done this before in 11 years however I think it is necessary this year.
    Can anyone help?
    Thank you
