Hi I work 2 days per week on permanent contract and have been doing the odd extra day on a supply basis. What should I be paid for these extra days? I would think it should be a higher daily rate to include holiday pay as won't get the extra during the holidays?

The full daily rate that includes pr-rata holiday pay is your annual salary divided by 195 as there are 195 days in the school year 9190 pupil days and 5 INSET)

Thank you do you mean salary of full timer on my point on scale divided by 195?
  4. Probably depends whether your employer is booking the additional work as "extra hours" or as supply. It is cheaper for them to pay extra hours.

Extra hours should still be paid as annual salary divided by 1265 or 975 depending on whether the LA pays the full daily rate based on a 5 hour day (divide by 975 for hourly rate) or a 6 hrs 35 minute day (divide by 1265)
