Expected level progress

    How many levels are students expected to make in progress through KS2 and KS3?

    from KS3- KS4 3 LOP so therefore 2 sub levels per year.

  5. KS2 is 2 levels of progress - so from a 2b in Year 2 to a 4b in Year 6. 2 levels from wherever you start is the expected - so we have a child who has converted to L3 from a L1. For children on p levels at entry, then we use the progression guidance published by the DFES a couple of years ago.
