Examples of innovation as a TA?

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by TAWren, Nov 16, 2011.

  1. Hi,
I am applying for a TA position in a foundation stage class (reception children). The personal spec has 'innovative' on the 'essential' list. I have given examples under the 'imagination and creative' heading, but am struggling to differentiate between being creative and imaginative. Please can anyone offer some advice - this is initially for my personal statement, and then additional if I get to interview.
    Thanks in advance!

  2. I would have thought creative and imaginative referred to activities while innovative referred to new ways to run the class/groups etc. Basically are you able to think out of the box?

  3. I would say something creative you have developed through experimentation.

  4. Thanks for the replies, I will try to think of some examples. [IMG]
