    Dear Tes Team,

Is it possible to do a blog post for authors about copyright and exam questions? There's a LOT of people that have made exam papers from past paper questions (and they're made using Edexcel Exam wizard or the AQA or OCR equivalent.

You're only allowed to use them within your centre and obviously they're all copyright and no one has the right to share them.

I think there are a lot of authors not aware of this.

Thanks for your suggestion. We do take the copyright of exam board materials seriously and encourage users to report the inappropriate sharing of exam materials.

When these reported materials are clearly taken from exam board subscription services we will remove them. We are especially vigilant at this time of year when teachers and students are tempted to discuss and share the recent exam materials online.

However we also encourage authors to develop new assessment materials for use in the classroom - these will undoubtedly be based on real exam board materials in order to reflect assessment objectives, exam question style and replicate existing mark schemes. These resources are especially useful for teachers when exam specifications are in their early years.

I appreciate your concerns on this subject and we will consider the best way to educate users on this topic.
