I'll be starting my first overseas teaching post in Kuwait
in Sept. I've been an examiner for a number of years now and I'm keen to
continue whilst I'm away. My contract states I'm not allowed to do any tutoring
outside of school without the school's permission or I'll be in breach of that
contract, but doesn't say anything about any other type of extra work. Do you
think I need to ask them?
And also, if I were to mark the Jan 12 cycle my earnings
from that would be taxed even though I'll be a non-resident for the 04.11 -
04.12 tax year - is that correct?
